The passing of a loved one can create a void, but I’ve found that the bond between us doesn’t end—it transforms. Over time, I have experienced meaningful signs that remind me of their presence. Each of these moments feels like a message, a comforting nudge from beyond, reminding me that they are still with me in spirit.
Seeing Repeated Numbers and Double Digits
Numbers have a remarkable way of appearing when I least expect them. I often encounter repeated numbers like 11:11, 2:22, 3:33, and especially 4:44, which I recognize as a sign from my son, Spencer, who passed away in 2022. Every time the number 4:44 shows up, it comes when I am reflecting on my son. One day, I was driving to the opera house when I passed a sign with the number 44. It bore my son’s name, Spencer. I have passed this exit a thousand times without feeling an emotional connection. But that one night, I sensed my son with me on my way to the San Francisco Opera, a theater my son had performed with in elementary school.
Music That Speaks to the Soul
Music can be a powerful emotional trigger. The day I sensed Spencer’s presence with me, I went to the Opera to see Orpheus and Eurydice. My son played Orpheus in a school play when he was ten years old. I was concerned that I might break down weeping uncontrollably with no end during the performance. Instead of being overwhelmed with grief, I found myself reflecting on how incredibly courageous my son had been to take on such a challenging role at such a young age.
Rather than reopening painful wounds, the music reminded me of my son’s bravery and determination. On the day of the school’s opening performance, someone had pushed Spencer off a playground platform, leaving him with a terrible migraine. He told me he couldn’t perform. I was apprehensive about letting him go that night. I called his teacher to ask about a backup study. There was no substitute for the role of Orpheus. As productions go, the show must go on.
I spoke to Spencer, asking him how he felt. Despite his injury, he gathered his strength. He took the stage, completing the performance with the same loyal devotion he had always shown to his commitments. Watching the Opera that night, I didn’t see it through the lens of loss; instead, I saw my son through a kaleidoscope of courage, resilience, and unwavering dedication.
Unexplained Electronic Activity
Spencer has also been involved in other paranormal activities. One of the most striking ones involved a water-pick toothbrush, something he and I had talked about. We were gifted one with two toothbrush attachments, but Spencer wasn’t quick to use his. Over time, I commandeered it, using it regularly, something we joked about. He eventually gifted me his portion. One day, while lying in bed, I heard water shooting out of the water pick from the bathroom. Assuming my daughter had accidentally used my toothbrush, I opened the bathroom door to an empty room with the water pick spraying toward my bedroom door. No one else was home. I pressed the button to stop it—just as you would have to push it to start it.
Then there was my electric bed. It started elevating independently without the remote control for no apparent reason. At first, I thought it was an electrical glitch, but the bed continued moving up and down on different days after I kept it unplugged. It reminded me of Spencer’s humor and smile from his youth—always finding a way to be mischievous and playful.
The ongoing Zoom calls. When providing psychic readings, I close my eyes and use my hands, holding them up in front of me. During the reading, my digital zoom hand goes up. If you have used Zoom, you will know you have to click on the raised hand icon for the people on the call to see it. This phenomenon continues on all my Zoom calls.
Dreams That Are Visitations
My dreams are one of the most potent ways my family connects with me. These aren’t ordinary dreams—they’re vivid, so lifelike that they feel indistinguishable from reality. In one dream, I was driving through the countryside with my mother on a beautiful, winding road. We were having a wonderful conversation. I felt deeply connected to her during our day trip. Suddenly, it occurred to me in my dream — that my mother had passed over a decade ago. My dream gave me an opportunity to rendezvous with my mother, revisiting the days where we would just hang out and talk.
These moments come when I need them most, offering reassurance, guidance, or simply the chance to reconnect. It reminds me that our loved ones’ presence transcends physical separation.
Nature’s Gentle Messages
My Guardian Angels like to communicate through dragonflies and butterflies. When I’m sitting outside near the pool, lost in thought, a dragonfly suddenly flies close to me. I find these creatures magical, and when they appear, it feels as though my Guardian Angels are sending me a message of support, reminding me that they are with me and that I am not alone.
The meaning we assign to nature symbols becomes the perfect way for our guides to connect with us. These dragonfly encounters never feel random—they come at the right moment, bringing me peace and connection when my heart is heavy.
Receiving These Signs with an Open Heart
Recognizing signs from our loved ones requires openness and a willingness to be receptive. These moments can be subtle. Whether through numbers, music, dreams, or unexpected movements of objects, these experiences remind us that our connection with them remains intact, even after death.
